Community Initiatives

Everyone has the right to participate in the cultural life of our community, and we strive to mitigate factors that impede access to the festival’s activities and operations. Our community engagement efforts includes Accessibility as part of the festival logistics planning and design, posting a dedicated Accessibility team during the festival, deeply discounted or donation of Community Tickets to groups that are not otherwise able to afford the festival, complimentary tickets to members of the Indigenous community, and our Open Arms Initiative which welcomes new immigrants and refugees to the Festival.
