The benefits
Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt*. Donors who give $35 or more also become voting Members of the Society. Your support will be recognized in the Festival program guide, and one time or monthly donors who make gifts of $400 or more a year will receive an invitation to our annual Shindig donor appreciation event.
*The Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society provides a tax receipt that directly reduces the taxes you pay. For gifts of more than $200, total tax savings generally equal about 40% to 50% of your donation. Credits can be carried forward for 5 years, and you can also transfer them to your spouse.
