Known for his witty and self-deprecating style and for his clever lyrics, Wainright has released 22 studio albums, and in 1999 said, “you could characterize the catalog as somewhat checkered, although I prefer to think of it as a tapestry.”
In January 2010, he won his first Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album, and released a new recording in April 2012.
