Larkin Poe

Larkin Poe (GA)

Rebecca & Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe are multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter sisters creating their own brand of roots rock ‘n’ roll that’s gritty, soulful, and flavoured by their Southern heritage. Originally from Atlanta and currently living in Nashville, they are descendants of tortured artist and creative genius Edgar Allan Poe.

Larkin Poe have steadily picked up accolades along their journey. In 2014, The Observer named them “best discovery of Glastonbury.” That same year, T Bone Burnett tapped them to record harmonies and instrumentals on Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, slotting Rebecca & Megan alongside names including Marcus Mumford, Elvis Costello, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, and Rhiannon Giddens. Larkin Poe’s self-produced third album, Peach, was nominated for the Blues Foundation’s Best Emerging Artist Album Award, and the Blues Music Awards nominated them for Best Emerging Artist. Larkin Poe’s fourth album, 2018’s Venom & Faith, hit #1 on the Billboard blues chart.
