Singer-songwriter Kellie Loder hails from St. John’s, Newfoundland and is carving out a notable niche in the East Coast music scene, blending folk and Americana with nuanced indie pop. They are a gifted storyteller and seasoned songwriter, known for a voice that blends warmth with undeniable strength.

Their 2024 release, Transitions (Killbeat Music) is a set of masterfully crafted original songs exploring love, heartbreak, and life’s changes. The collection of songs is connected by a vulnerability filled with raw emotion yet carries a sense of hope.

Recent accolades include their debut performance at the JUNO Awards in Vancouver this spring, picking up two East Coast Music Awards in 2023 for Songwriter of the Year and Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year, and placing first runner-up on Canada’s Got Talent in 2022.
