Hayley Wallis

British Columbia

The rich textured tone of singer/songwriter Hayley Wallis’ voice has an unmistakable confidence that is immediately recognizable. Live on stage, she delivers a powerful emotional performance that unerringly evokes a response as dynamic as her vocal range.

Hayley is part of the Kitasoo/Xaixais Nation and originally from Klemtu, a small isolated island located in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest – but is well on her way to breaking into the national music scene with her debut EP Halulu. A collection of relatable and soulful pop gems, they reveal her passion and talent for storytelling –showcasing her talents as an R&B pop singer.

With multiple singles reaching #1 on NCI’s Indigenous Music Countdown alongside adds to SiriusXM’s Indigiverse and Poplandia, and the “Indigenous” Spotify Editorial, this emerging star is poised for even bigger horizons. Her record was named among the top Indigenous music albums of 2023 by Stingray, and she’s received a nod from the CBC Searchlight 2023 finalist group.

Hayley is passionate about leaving a strong legacy and paving a path along her way. She sings for herself, for her children and for her people, and hopes to set an example that will empower the young generation of her community to pursue their dreams.
