Albert Lee | UK/CA

“The ultimate virtuoso. His skill is extraordinary, his ear is extraordinary and he’s gifted on just about every level.” – Eric Clapton

Albert Lee is a Grammy Award-winning British guitarist, a multiple recipient of Guitar Player magazine’s “Best Country Guitarist”, and celebrated by fans and musicians the world over for his hybrid picking technique. Known for his use of the Fender Telecaster and signature Ernie Ball guitar, Albert has not only worked in the studio and on tour with some of the biggest names in the world’s  music, (The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets to name a few), but has maintained a successful solo career.

The British-born country-rock artist started his career during the emerging rock ‘n’ roll scene of sixties London, when he swapped bands with the likes of Jimmy Page and Chris Farlowe. After moving to the US and assimilating into the country music scene, Albert quickly garnered a reputation as one of the fastest guitar players in the business. He recorded a number of solo albums, and won a Grammy in 2002 for his contribution on “Foggy Mountain Breakdown”. As Emmylou Harris said of Lee, he’s “A brilliant guitar player. His sound is unmistakable – often emulated, never equaled.” You do not want to miss the chance to say you were there when this legendary artist hits the stage.
