Bike Valet

We’re excited to offer secure, convenient bicycle parking once again at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, located near the festival’s main gate — a low-stress, low-impact way to arrive at the beach and start your festival weekend.
Our Bike Valet accommodates:
- Bicycles
- Scooters
- Car seats (for those arriving via car-share)
Enjoy a ticket exchange system, similar to a coat check, to store your items safely. This service is offered by donation for festival patrons and complimentary for our dedicated volunteers.
Bike valet parking is located near Main Gate off West 4th Avenue.
Please note: bicycles are not permitted on the festival site and should not be locked to the perimeter fence.
Our amazing team of volunteers will be onsite to ensure safe and organized storage for all attendees arriving on two wheels.
Directions for Cyclists
From Kitsilano and Eastward:
- From the Seawall continue through Kits Beach Park to Point Grey Road
- From the Burrard Bridge, use York to Point Grey Road.

Our Active Transportation Partners
We are proud to acknowledge the support of The BC Cycling Coalition (BCCC) and The Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MoTT), whose generous support through the BC Bike Valet Grant Program helps make our Bike Valet possible.
Their commitment to active transportation, climate resilience, and safer, more inclusive communities directly supports our shared goal of making the Vancouver Folk Music Festival a more sustainable and accessible event.
Together, we’re helping more people choose to bike, scoot, and stroll into the weekend — reducing emissions, easing congestion, and fostering connection on every path to the beach.
Join us — and ride into the rhythm of the weekend.
