The spirit of the blues lives on in Sue Foley! 

A veritable triple-threat of musical talent as a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist, she is a multi-award-winning musician and one of the finest blues and roots artists working today. As with many blues women of the past, Foley has a long history of defying convention and being a positive role model for aspiring young women musicians.

With her paisley guitar Pinky, she’s more than held her own on many stages with everybody from Jimmy Vaughan, Billy Gibbons, Susan Tedeschi, and Derek Trucks. A road warrior who can play hundreds of shows in a year, she is a purist dedicated to authentic and undiluted blues.

On her latest release, One Guitar Woman, she decided to strip down her sound to a single guitar. Focusing on her intricate acoustic guitar picking, she shows another side of her artistry and pays tribute to her blues foremothers including Memphis Minnie, Geechie Wiley, Mother Maybelle Carter, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. This acclaimed release was nominated for both a Grammy and JUNO.
