Festival Dates and Hours
Dates: July 13, 14 & 15, 2011
Site Box Office opens Friday 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.
Will Call opens Friday 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Gates open Friday 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am to 9:30 pm; the West Gate will open half an hour later than the East Gate.
Concerts run Friday 5:00 pm to 11 pm; Saturday & Sunday 10 am to 11 pm.
The Fine Print
- All ticket prices are in Canadian dollars and include HST.
- Tickets are non-refundable. We are unable to exchange or refund tickets. Treat them like cash! There are no ticket refunds, exchanges or replacements for lost, stolen, forgotten or destroyed tickets.
- Little Folks 12 and under admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult.
- A limited number of single day tickets are available.
- A limited number of discounted student tickets are available.
- Weekend ticket holders will receive wristbands which are non-transferable.
Save even more on our group rates!
- Purchase 15 or more tickets of the same type and receive a 10% discount.
- These must be purchased in advance and are only available from the Festival office by mail, phone, fax or in person. The Group Discount cannot be purchased on-line.
- Group Rate discount is NOT available at the Gate.
- Cannot be used in combination with any other discount (ie. Holiday tickets/Member tickets).
How to receive your tickets
In office:
- Tickets will be available for pickup at the office as of May 4th (2012).
- Please call before coming to the office to ensure that your tickets are ready.
- Only the ticket buyer will be able to pick up tickets at the Festival office, and ID will be required plus the valid credit card.
- Tickets are mailed at your own risk. Please make arrangements with the Box Office (boxoffice@thefestival.bc.ca) if you would like to have your tickets sent by registered mail.
By Mail:
- Tickets will not be mailed later than June 30th. After which they will be held at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival office until July 12th, then they will be available at will call at the main gate.
- All tickets mailed to the purchaser are subject to a $3 shipping and handling fee.
Will Call:
- All tickets that have not been picked up in office by Thursday, July 12 will be available on the festival site at the Will Call office (located at East Gate).
- Only the ticket buyer will be able to pick up tickets at Will Call, and ID will be required plus the valid credit card.
