Hallelujah
by Leonard Cohen

I heard there was a secret chord

That David played, it pleased the Lord

You don't really care for music, do ya

It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth

The minor fall, the major lift

The baffled king composing hallelujah

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…

Your faith was strong, you needed proof

You saw her bathing on the roof

Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya

She tied you to a kitchen chair

She broke your throne, she cut your hair

And from her lips she drew the hallelujah

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…

You say I took the name in vain

Well, I don’t even know the name

But if I did, well really, what’s it to ya

There’s a blaze of light in every word

It doesn’t matter what you heard

The holy or the broken hallelujah

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…

I did my best, it wasn’t much

I couldn’t feel, I tried to touch

Told the truth, I didn’t come to fool ya

And even though it all went wrong

I’ll stand before the lord of song

With nothing on my tongue but hallelujah

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelu…

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelu…

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelu…

Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…Hallelujah…

Harvest Moon
by Neil Young

Come a little bit closer, hear what I have to say

Just like children sleepin', we could dream this night away.

But there's a full moon risin', let's go dancin' in the light

We know where the music's playin', let's go out and feel the night.

Because I'm still in love with you

I want to see you dance again

Because I'm still in love with you

On this harvest moon.

When we were strangers, I watched you from afar

When we were lovers, I loved you with all my heart.

But now it's gettin' late, and the moon is climbin' high

I want to celebrate, see it shinin' in your eye.

Because I'm still in love with you

I want to see you dance again

Because I'm still in love with you

On this harvest moon.

+Break+

Because I'm still in love with you

I want to see you dance again

Because I'm still in love with you

On this harvest moon
