I have been volunteering at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival for 25 years. I used to volunteer on different committees, because I liked trying different things and meeting different people every year.

About 5+ years ago I got on with the Main stage crew and enjoyed the people and the comrade so much that I stayed there until 2007.

In 2008, I moved on to start the Volunteer stories committee, to give Volunteers a way to share their stories and build a History of VFMF Volunteers. I quickly realised that everyone has a stories and so we started interviewing and collecting stories, photos, audio, and video for Festival Stories.
