We are now accepting vendor applications for the 35th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival taking place on the shores of Jericho Beach July 13, 14, and 15 2012.
Each year, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival draws more than 36,000 people over 3 days, providing the members of our community village an excellent opportunity to increase exposure and awareness.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival welcomes all community-building organizations with a focus on green living, alternate energy sources, positive community development, and the promotion of equality and sustainable development to apply to participate in the 2012 VFMF Community Village.
The interactive nature of the 2011 Community Village was a huge hit; therefore, we encourage all of our community partners to offer interactive and participatory activities or displays at their booths for the 2012 Festival. We are looking for engaging, dynamic activity areas that address the festival’s core values, are interactive, and promote ideas that will make the Festival and planet a healthier and happier place. The Community Village is the perfect opportunity for your organization to engage with the public, bringing your vital work to the folk and allowing them to interact with it.
Get creative and help folks understand and support the important work you do above and beyond the handing out of printed brochures. Those organizations with the most interesting interactive exhibits will be accepted.
These spots tend to fill up quickly, so please submit your application ASAP! Deadline for the 2012 Festival is June 15th, 2012.
All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application following the application deadline; successful applicants will be charged in full once accepted to the 2012 Community Village.
