Folk Bazaar Policy
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival, in cooperation with the Parks Board and the City of Vancouver, will be accommodating vending on the outside of the festival grounds once again. The Folk Bazaar, located near the West Gate of the festival grounds, has quickly become a cherished part of the Festival experience. Submitting this application does not guarantee booth space in the Folk Bazaar.
No drugs or alcohol permitted, no animals on-site, no parking provided, no water or power provided (no generators permitted), no open flames (ie. candles), and no overnight camping. All booths must be hand-loaded, absolutely no vehicles will be permitted on-site for vendor load-in.
Please be aware that there will be restructuring and relocation of all vendor booth layouts this year.
Folk Bazaar Hours of Operation
Friday, July 13 from 4:00 PM – 9:15 PM*
Saturday, July 14 from 10:00 AM – 9:15 PM*
Sunday, July 15 from 10:00 AM – 9:15 PM*
*Hours of operation are subject to change based on light and weather conditions.
For safety the Folk Bazaar must be closed at sundown.
Application deadline is Monday, June 21st, 2018.
Booth spaces are first-come, first-served for successful applicants.
Please complete the application form in full. Application should include digital album of items being sold.
**Please note: All booth spaces must be purchased in advance of the Festival. If you do not register ahead of time, you must come to site prepared to sign the contract and have proof of your own liability insurance. Even then, booth space is not guaranteed.
