Update for 2010
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is now accepting applications for the Artisan Market that is held inside the grounds of the Festival. Priority will be given to artists and artisans who create their own handmade items. In the past we have accepted import and commercial goods but our first priority will be to highlight original handmade items.
We have space available for up to 40 artisans. Applications are invited from artisans across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to sell your work and gain exposure to over 36,000 people that attend each year.
We are looking at originality, aesthetics and quality of the work and the overall balance of work in the show. All applications must include high quality photos or samples of your work for the selection committee. The application deadline is March 31, 2010.
