Update for 2010 – FULL for 2010
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival, in cooperation with the Parks Board and the City of Vancouver, will be accommodating vending on the outside of the festival grounds once again. This year the Folk Bazaar will be set up along the beach and wrap around the west side of the grounds.
As many of you know, we took control of the market due to health and safety concerns that had been raised prior to 2009. Vendors’ goods will be secured over-night and washrooms are available. There will be only one area available this year.
The cost of participating as a Bazaar Vendor is $230 and includes all taxes for the entire weekend. All vendors must fill out an application and send in total payment by credit card or money order (we will not accept cheques). Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Please forward all questions to info@thefestival.bc.ca. Applications are to be mailed or brought in person to the 4th floor of the Festival office at 411 Dunsmuir.
***Be advised vending or soliciting outside of the gated areas of the Festival and camping along Jericho are prohibited by Civic By-Laws.
